TRICKLE DOWN

Tracing into my northern roots, I found fascinating shapes and forms from the farmers of northern China. They skillfully overlay their aprons on top heavy coats, creating a practical and layered garment for enduring the harsh elements. They make giant cotton-padded boots, essential for surviving the unforgiving winds of the region. These traditional practices reflect a deep connection to the land and the spirit of the working class people. Taking their silhouettes fighting upon as design elements, “ TRICKLE DOWN” to today’s fashion scene.
